Fairytale Destinations

Dubrovnik, standing in for King’s Landing, is best in the shoulder season when the cruise ships thin out and the old town belongs to the people who live in it.

Alnwick, in Northumberland, was the first Hogwarts. It is also a real castle with a real family in it, which is more interesting than the film connection.
